Dr. El-Gamal joined Water Management Research Institute (WMRI), in 2004. He is currently associate Professor and the head of Developing and Evaluating Irrigation System department. Since joining WMRI, His research experiences included the evaluation of irrigation improvement projects, the rehabilitation of the irrigation networks, and sharing some Japanese researchers to define the weaknesses of water management in Egypt and the required countermeasures to overcome such weaknesses Dr. El-Gamal developed many scientific papers, and he shared in few books published by Springer, United Nation University, and Lambert Academic Publishing.
